On Bi Luo ChunI love it! It tastes and smells really nice. I think it's the best for warm spring or summer days (especially mornings), when you have time to chill out and drink the tea slowly, so you could focus on the taste.
On Xiao Qing Gan Pu'erWhen I first opened the tea pouch I was amazed at the beautiful fresh scent of the leaves. A truly delightful tea that I highly recommend.
On Wuyi Black TeaThis tea sounded good and I like to mix things up, so I took a chance and WOW. So glad I did!

No. 01 · The Flagship
Great tea is decided long before the water is poured.
In China, the finest teas have always been judged first by the leaf: its shape, its color, the care with which it was picked and finished. A tea of this kind needs nothing to disguise it. It asks only to be prepared well, and enjoyed without hurry.
Bi Luo Chun is one of the most celebrated expressions of that idea: fine leaves rolled into delicate spirals, which open slowly in the cup. Ours comes from Hangzhou, in Zhejiang. It is the tea we chose to lead our collection.
The Chinese Tea Ritual
Preparing Chinese tea is simple, and endlessly refinable. At home it asks for only a few minutes, and your full attention.

01
Begin with the leaves. Warm your cup or gaiwan with a little hot water, then measure the tea, a few grams for a small vessel. Take a moment with the dry leaf: its shape, its color, its scent.

02
Pour water suited to the tea, cooler for delicate greens and hotter for deeper teas, and let the leaves open. Infusions are brief and may be repeated; each one reveals a little more.

03
Pour, and drink slowly. Notice the color, the aroma rising from the cup, the way the taste changes as it cools. This is the whole ritual: nothing more, and nothing less.
