In short

We use personal information to answer you, to send our letters to those who ask for them, and to run this website. We do not sell your information, and this site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

What we collect

• When you write to us, through our contact page or by email: your name, your email address and the content of your message. A wholesale enquiry may also include details about your business, the teas you are interested in and the quantities you have in mind.
• When you subscribe to our letters: your email address.
• Your bag: the teas you add are kept in your own browser, on your device, so that they are still there when you return. This information is not sent to us.
• Technical information: when you visit the site, our hosting provider processes data such as your IP address, your browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Client accounts are not available yet, so we do not ask you to create one. Online checkout is opening soon: when it does, this policy will be updated to explain how orders and payments are handled.

How we use it

• To reply to your messages and wholesale enquiries.
• To send our letters, if you have subscribed.
• To operate the site, keep it secure and understand how to improve it.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for others' marketing.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It uses your browser's local storage only to remember your bag. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings; your bag will then be empty.

Who we share it with

We rely on service providers to run this site, such as our hosting provider, Vercel. They process information on our behalf, only as needed to provide their service.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and enquiries for as long as we need them to answer you and follow up, and subscribers' email addresses until they unsubscribe.

Your choices and rights

• You can unsubscribe from our letters at any time by writing to us at contacts@moshantea.com.
• You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to us at contacts@moshantea.com or through our contact page.
• Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under the law that applies to you.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

The site is served over a secure connection (HTTPS), and we take reasonable care to protect the information you share with us.
