About this tea
Xiao qing gan, the “small green mandarin”, is a tea of two parts: the peel of a small mandarin, hollowed and filled with pu'er tea from Yunnan. Infused together, the two become a single cup.
It belongs to the Chinese tradition of pairing tea with citrus peel, where the depth of the tea and the brightness of the peel meet.
Deeper in color and more resonant than a green tea, it is a cup for the evening, for the end of a meal, for conversations that are in no hurry to finish.

Wonderful calming tea with both a very satisfying smell and taste to it. Love it, thank you very much Moshan.
When I first opened the tea pouch I was amazed at the beautiful fresh scent of the leaves. A truly delightful tea that I highly recommend.
I bought this tea because I loved the appearance. The tea that arrived looks exactly the same as the picture, which you can't say of all merchants online.

The Ritual
Warm the vessel. Measure the leaves. Pour, wait, and pay attention. The ritual of Chinese tea is simple, and it is the surest way to bring out everything a fine leaf has to offer.
